A significantly better tool
A great tool we use at Riot is @TeamRetroHQ. My past teams always did retros in confluence or a whiteboard, which was ok but TeamRetro is a significantly better tool for facilitating discussions and tracking team health over time.

A great tool for a collaborative retrospective
It lets you customise columns, add anonymous entries, group similar topics and vote on the ones they'd like to discuss. You can assign action items and export the discussion.
